The Digital Mom Handbook

If you blog or ever wanted to blog, The Digital Mom Handbook by Audrey Mcclelland and Colleen Padilla is a fantastic resource. I'm a blogger and I've begun to grow a stronger reader base but this book gives great tips and tools for solidifying my presence on the web. The book is written by experts who know the ins and outs of working from home, building a money-making blog, and much more.
The book is packed full of testimonials from other women who have successfully built a blog empire that actually earns them money. The authors take their time in making sure the reader understands terminology and they include a section in the back that explains social media. There are also links throughout the book to websites that are both resources for the blogger as well as examples of successful bloggers.

I've read books on blogging before, but this one is uniquely targeted to the woman who blogs and it has the same warm feel as the blogs I'm drawn to. It gives advice on how to get started, how to find readers, and how to make money with your blog. It also addresses how to keep your family first and how to set boundaries that keep your home business from overtaking your family life.

I can't say enough about how great I think this is as a resource. I'm very techie and I still learned a bunch from the book.

I had an advance reader copy, so I can't wait to see what the final layout looks like.
This book was provided to me free of charge in exchange for my honest review.
